The Gold Rush Planning Meeting will be held at the McCormick Administration Building on November 3, 2025 at 6:00 PM. Anyone who is interested in volunteering to plan and facilitate the 2026 Gold Rush Festival is encouraged to attend the meeting.

45th McCormick Gold Rush Festival

We are proud to announce the return of our annual Gold Rush Festival on Saturday, September 20, 2025! The festival will take place in a continuum of locations from Historic Downtown McCormick (Main Street) to connecting at Hardy Field (801Carolina Street).

Gold Rush 2025 promises the return of a family-oriented event that highlights and embraces our community with fun activities and games for children, and musical entertainment for adults and families. Patrons will have opportunities to purchase food and goods or to gain information from vendors. There will also be the return of the Gold Rush Festival Parade!

The theme for this year’s festivities is My McCormick: A Moment in Time. The Gold Rush Planning Committee believes this theme highlights the finest attribute of McCormick to recognize diverse cultures, beliefs, and ideals of people who live in our fine county. The goal is for the festival to highlight the strengths of our community and allow individual and collective groups to reflect on the special meaning of McCormick through parade participation, event sponsorship, and vendor services and sales.

Proceeds will go towards covering the cost of Gold Rush 2025 and planning for future events.
